An announcement from Unioto Baseball:
The unioto baseball program is attempting to upgrade the playing facility, with the goal of doing so in phases. There is no question Duane “Dudaddy” Potter has dedicated over 20 years of his life, sweat, and blood to making the Unioto Field one of the best in Southern Ohio. We believe with our community’s support we can take it to the next level for the next generation of student-athletes and coaches.
We have a two-step process:
1st phase: Turf the mound, plate, base paths, and walk-up.
2nd Phase: We will turf the entire infield
Included in this post is the mock-up of the current, 1st phase, and 2nd Phase.
For our beginning fundraiser, we are selling varsity football season parking passes in the parking lot between the home side of our football bleachers and the soccer field. Passes for the season can be purchased for $50, and there are only 90 spots available, so get your pass as soon as possible. This will not interfere with any of our handicap parking spots, and ALL OTHER PARKING SPOTS ON OUR CAMPUS ARE FREE.
This baseball project will be fully funded by donations and sponsorships. Any support would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for your past and future support!

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! Go Tanks!
The Play Zone is back for Unioto varsity home football games, beginning next Thursday evening, August 20, when the Unioto Shermans take on the Jackson Ironmen!
This fun, supervised space for young children will be managed by the coaches and players of the Unioto Shermans Baseball Team. For everyone’s safety, children must either remain seated in the bleachers with a parent or guardian or be checked into the Play Zone.
A $2 donation per child is requested, with all proceeds supporting the Unioto Shermans Baseball Team. Thank you for helping us create a safe and enjoyable game-day experience for our youngest Sherman fans while supporting our student-athletes!

We are excited to announce that breakfast and lunch will be provided to all students at no charge during the 2026-27 school year. Additional lunches and à la carte items may be purchased if the student has money on his/her lunch account. Parents may pay by check or cash to the café or Payschools Central is available on our district website. Fall latchkey acceptance letters were mailed out yesterday. We still have openings for the 26/27 school year. Please get those submitted by August 14th to ensure your child is able to participate as of the first day of school. Any applications received after August 14th will be processed, but your child will not be able to start latchkey until you receive a phone call notifying you of the start date.
Also, if you requested open enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year, the confirmation form has been added to your child's FinalForms. Please sign off on the confirmation form by August 3, 2026, and complete all forms for your student in preparation for the new school year.

Building secretaries will be back in the buildings starting on August 3rd if you have any questions. Prior to their return, you can reach the district office at 740-773-4102 for any assistance.

Registration 26-27, Open Enrollment, & Fall Latchkey
Parents, you can now access FinalForms to update or register your students for the 2026-2027 school year. You will see a big, blue button in FinalForms directing you to click it to switch to the 26-27 school year. *If your address has changed or changes over the summer, please make sure you update it in all fields on your student’s contact page: student’s home address and both parent addresses, if applicable.
Open enrollment forms are now only available in FinalForms for returning and new students. The address in the open enrollment form must also be updated and match the addresses in the contact page if you are not in the Unioto District and move from one school district to another.
Open enrollment confirmation letters are no longer mailed, but a Confirmation Form will be loaded into your student’s FinalForms account on July 15th for those open enrollment requests submitted and approved by June 30th.
Additionally, Fall Latchkey applications are available online at the district website, or you can pick one up at the elementary building or the administration. office.

During this time, there will be no practices, open gyms, non-mandatory workouts, etc. We hope this gives families of athletes and coaches time to plan vacations without the concern of having to miss workouts.
