In honor of National Athletic Training Month, we would like to recognize Phillip Hughes for helping to keep our student-athletes safe. During March athletic trainers across America are being recognized for their commitment to helping people prevent injuries, and stay healthy and active, and for being highly educated and dedicated healthcare professionals. Unioto would like to thank Phillip Hughes for serving as our athletic trainer and supporting our student-athletes. Thank you, Phillip!! Students…If there are things you are avoiding, things you are dreading to deal with, things you are afraid of, things you know you can do better, the hard tough things in your life, understand that addressing them directly will strengthen you. It will help prepare you for the next hard and difficult things you will face. And you will face more difficult things. There is no path of “no difficult things”. It is not an option. What is an option is to learn to confront the tough difficult things. And be smart and strategic about it. Pick one and deal with it. Take it on. See it as it is…an opportunity to just truly see what exactly you are made of and capable of and who you will become. I will tell you will get stronger and better and braver! You can take on more than you think you can. You really can. I heard just this morning on a podcast that Andrew Huberman said…”The reason to deliberately do hard things is so that when non-self-elected challenges arrive, and they will, you can tell yourself I don’t know how this is going to turn out but I know I can do hard things. Don’t self-injure. But doing hard things is always worthwhile.” 3 days til Monday! Do hard things!! Go Tanks!!
